Why A Squared?

Beyond inclusion, towards accessibility.

It all started with the need for accessible spaces. The more and more research I do into the topic, the less there is to find. In a time when we are all looking to include each other, with such a heavy focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) training, why is there such a lack of accessibility?

Take a moment and think about the last performance you went to- live or virtual (it is a pandemic after all). What pieces were overwhelming to you as a patron or performer? For many people, so many things get in the way of being able to not only enjoy, but even access the performance. That's why A Squared was built, to bring accessible, adaptive arts to meet the needs and challenges of performers, creators, and artists everywhere.

And that's what we plan to do.

As neurodivergent individuals, we experience the lack of accessibility every day. We are here to change that- not just include our community, but move beyond to accessibility.

We have a lot of ideas, and are on a mission to make this world truly accessible starting with the area that has shaped our lives- the arts.

We can't wait for you to see what we have in store, and hope you'll join us on our journey to accessibilty!
